Having qualified from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi, Dr Manpreet Gulati chose to be a Radiologist. He joined the Professorial faculty at AIIMS in 1996 where he worked until 2005. During this period he undertook two fellowships in US & UK in Interventional Radiology. In 2003 he was awarded the first national VP Lakhanpal gold medal for contributions to Indian Radiology by the Indian College of Radiology & Imaging. In 2003 he was the Visiting Professor to the University of Brisbane. In 2006, Dr Gulati was granted the FRCR in UK without exam through nomination based on professional & academic contributions.
More recently as first employee, CEO and Co-Founder of LycaHealth (lycahealth.com), he led setting up of comprehensive Multispecialty Outpatients & Day care Centres (images below) with High quality Diagnostic facilities including MRI, CT, Ultrasound & X-ray in both UK & India. He was directly responsible for the project & led & oversaw the team for recruitment, establishing & visibility of brand, forming doctor and partnership relationships, insurance approvals, negotiation of contracts & equipment purchase, clinical governance and setting up the culture within the organisation etc.
Manpreet has now returned back to practise at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in London, as a Consultant Radiologist, where he was working previously as well & had been Lead for Interventional Radiology. He has also held an honorary contract with Guys' St Thomas' Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He has received several Clinical Excellence Awards.
His research led to nearly 150 peer-reviewed publications in journals & several chapters in books & he regularly presents & lectures at international meetings.
As an experienced Radiologist he previously taught students the Kings FRCR course. In addition, he also participated in the Royal College of Radiologists activities in various committees. He currently mentors medical students.
His other interests include motivational speaking, mentoring, blogging & painting.

• Special Recognition Award at the Zenith Global Health Awards 2016, London. • Best new Healthcare business award by the Essex Medical Society in the House of Commons in 2015 • Prof VP Lakhanpal Gold Medal for academic contributions awarded by the India College of Radiology and Imaging at the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Indian Radiological Imaging and Association in 2003. - Several other awards for scientific presentations in multiple international imaging meetings.
